I bought this item after reviewing alot of different TomToms models, I decided to get this tomom the 720 for the Price and all its features. Used the free shipping item came less then a couple days, arrived before delivery date. Once turned on tomtom it turned on in a differnt language, but once connected my laptop, automaticly asked to download software for the tomtom. Once downloaded the actual tomtom ask me to pick the lanauage which I pick English, then took me thru quick steps to setting up the device. But once on the tomtom home on my computer kept stating maps were 6 quaters out of date. Tried to update, but kept stating payment was do, email company with my problem regarding the maps being out of date, also attach a copy of my receipt to the email for proof of purchase. They responded back to me on just how to load the tomtom on my computer. Which was already installed. Call TOMTOM the next day waited on hold for like 20 mins, but spoke to a customer rep who was very nice and polite, pulled up my email that was sent with attachment, since he would need to verify my purchase. Took a couple of mins, but then explained and told me he was going to be emailing me directions on how to back up my tomom just incase there would be any problems, which I did this. He stated once itemed was back up, on the Tomtom home Then would show that a new update was Ready, which it was. Downloaded this to the device, now device is like new again with the latest maps. Tomtom support was very helpful, and will be trying out this device over the weekend so if any problems will list in my review.
