I got this as a present so I have no idea as to how competitive the price is here (compared to those in big box stores), but I have to say I'm pretty infatuated with my TomTom. I just used it on my first major trip and it was like having a general in the car alongside me. I had to reroute a couple of times which it did with ease and it sure beats me having to look at paper computer print-out directions as I did in year's past. The technology is sophisticated yet the directions remain very easy to use. I had mine up and running in minutes. Sadly, now I don't think I can get by in the future without my TomTom.
