I was happy with the product until the battery only lasted several minutes off of the charger. After a tedious ordeal with TomTom customer service, I spent money mailing my TomTom back and then they sent me a refurbished one. Since I've had the 'new' one, it randomly shuts off at what seem like the most inopportune times, like in the middle of a multiple-turn guidance with tons of traffic. I'm now in the process of dealing with their customer service again. It's no pleasure.
If it tells you anything, it's almost May now and they've still got the same message they had in December (when I had the first trouble) stating they apologize for the inconvenience but due to the 'holiday season' they are experiencing 'higher than normal call volume.'
