I purchased the Garmin 265WT from Amazon and within 5 minutes of opening the package it was useless. I turned it on and walked out the front door for reception. I promptly dropped it on my front stoop. When I picked it up the screen was cracked rendering it useless. I have dropped my cell phone at least 15 times in 4 years and it works fine. I don't know how a "portable" device can be so fragile. Amazon would not provide a replacement or refund.
