Garmin nüvi 760 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator Order Now

I bought this GPS to replace a less expensive Sony GPS that I accidentally broke. I decided to "splurge" and buy the Garmiin nuvi 760, thinking between the cost and great reviews I had read, that I would be in love with it. Unfortunately, that couldn't be further from the truth! I dread having to use it since it takes me through absolutely unnecessary 'detours' (it will often have me get off an exit only to put me right back on the same highway I had just been on) and seems to take the most protracted, convoluted path to the desired destination (and yes I've adjusted the settings, it doesn't change it). It also takes quite a while to load the maps. Oh, and if you want/need to change the route you're on, it can take up to a minute for it to 'recalculate'. The one positive I will give it, is it stays on, and continues to guide inside of Boston tunnels, which is great.

If you're looking for a GPS that will bring you the most efficient route, not waste your time, and maybe give you some short cuts (something my previous GPS did), this isn't the unit for you. Get more detail about Garmin nüvi 760 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator.
