As of today our family has 4 of these. We've been all over the country with it and as with any GPS there is a Map mistake from time to time, but we have never been lost with it. It's all in what you get used to. Our friends had a Garmen on a trip south and we had the LG, neither of us knew how to use the other as easily as our own. Overall it is a great unit. Of course there is some brand loyalty involved here too. All TV's, DVD's, and Cell Phones in our house are LG.
