This is email I received after asking about updating MapTraxx SD card. Sounds like present GPS352 units are out-of-date and will never up-to-date.

Uniden America Corp. has a development team focused on bringing new, innovative GPS products to the market. Recently we began developing software internally and plan to provide our own map updates for future GPS products. The GPS product you have does not have any map updates available and there are no scheduled updates for the future on that particular model. Uniden GPS units with updated maps are targeted to be available to consumers in 2009.
