Updated from version 6 to this software, and couldn't be happier. While there are some features I wish could have been included, basically it does everything I need it to do. I use a Garmin GPS for backpacking, and not DeLorme's proprietary Earthmate, so interfacing is out of the question. But it's a simple matter to plug in the coordinates from off the map into my Garmin, and off I go. I've done this for years with, as I mentioned, version 6, but with version 4 as well--and it has never led me astray trekking the wild woods.Get more detail about Topo USA 8.0 National Edition.
