I bought one of these to use on my motorcycle. It lasted about 2 rides before it broke at the base. The only thing that saved my GPS was the cord. I complained to the distributor and was eventually sent a replacement. The replacement failed on the first ride while doing 65 mph down the highway. I was trying to secure my dangling GPS while riding. It created a very dangerous condition. I would not waste my time, money, or life on this piece of garbage product. Spend the extra money and buy a quality RAM mount.
