-1 star for a very disappointing design change. The last joint on the back of the head for the mount (just behind where the TomTom mounts to it) as shown in the picture should have been a left-right only moving joint with a top screw. The mid-joint was your up/down (still is).
They changed the head joint to a ball-in-socket type joint with a compression ring. These types are notorious for wearing out, and never being able to get quite tight enough to never move on their own, this made me sad! With trying to tighten it as tight as I can get it, if you bump it, the TomTom is heavy enough to make it move. =( It's ok for now as long as I'm not mashing buttons rough and don't bump it, but I see this taking what was a great mount by design, and shortening it's longevity greatly.Get more detail about Deluxe Friction Dashboard Mount for TomTom GPS Units (ARKTT112).
