This item was mainly bought to just hold the archos 5 somewhere useful for car usage. It does serve its purpose. I give the suction cup a 3/5 since it did slip off of the winshield once. To its credit however, the Archos 5 is NOT a lightweight device. We positioned the mount on the windshield, but low enough not to obstruct road view and where the bottom of the mount also rests on the dashboard.
The charger is a nice add-on. I can't speak for the fm transmitter. I use my 3.5 jack for auxillary input to my head unit. I was never a fan of the fm transmitter sound in the past with other devices.
This is a great buy, if for nothing else, I don't know where you can find another product of this type for the Archos 5 internet tablet.Get more detail about Archos Car Mount 501426 With FM Transmitter (Black).
