The AMOD3080 is a good GPS data logger and works well to geo tag images assuming you have the date/time in the camera and the AMOD synchronized. I use HoudahGeo software to tag the images that I have taken. The only unintuitive thing about the operation of the AMOD is that the satellite locked icon is steadily lit when it is acquiring satellites and starts to flash when it has acquired the satellites.
