The unit is good, but I went to eastern Europe to go hiking in the woods, thinking that I can upgrade to a local map, but apperently I can't. Will be contacting Amazon, to see if I can return the item, or exchange.Get more detail about Garmin eTrex Summit HC Handheld GPS Receiver.
