I purchased a factory remanufactured Garmin Approach G5 GPS after using a friends on the course. It has all the features needed to make your golf game better. It identifies yardage to the green, yardage to hazards and bunkers, and it also allows you to compute yardage from your ball to anywhere on the fairway or green. I like the ability to move the flag stick to the correct location where it is on the green, and the Garmin then recomputes the new yardage to the stick. I have found that I get two rounds of golf completed before I get a low battery message on my screen. I carry extra batteries in case they are needed during play. This GPS requires NO subscriber fees, download fees for additional courses, and so far, I have not found a course I play to not be included in the courses that come loaded on the GPS when it is purchased. The screen is large enough to not be crowded with data.
