I actually bought this mount for a Magellan GPS. I returned the Magellan. Before returning this, I tried it as a mount for my wife's Garmin. It worked beautifully. I used it in my car, and let me tell you, it sticks to the dashboard. It is NOT glue, so the mount is removable. But that surface (which feels like some kind of rubber) just sticks to the dashboard. The mount does not move, no matter how sharp the turn. Just remember when you buy this to remove the paper on the base of the mount.
