Save Magellan Meridian External Power Cable with Cigarette Lighter Adapter

I purchased this so I could have power for my GPS on my snowmobile. If you don't have a cigarette plug on yours, go to your local electronics store and get yourself a bridge rectifier, cut the plug off of this and connect to the rectifier, tap into 12 VAC and ground on the sled for the other 2 connectors on the rectifier and you've got power. You do still need batteries because the voltage gets weak at idle, but there is plenty off idle. Get the bicycle mount for GPS to mount on handlebars. Been using this setup for a few years. Works great and is a smart idea in unfamiliar territory. Get more detail about Magellan Meridian External Power Cable with Cigarette Lighter Adapter.
