TomTom Navigator 5 Software with Maps of North America for compatible PDAs with Bluetooth Order Now

Works well with the Dell Axim and a Holux GR271 CF GPS receiver. Loaded all the US and Canada maps on a 2gb memory card. Installation went on uneventfully.

Noticed some issues with the maps in rural areas, think it is when traveling from map segment to map segment.

Otherwise, really pleased with the software.Get more detail about TomTom Navigator 5 Software with Maps of North America for compatible PDAs with Bluetooth.

TomTom Subscription for Realtime Fuel Prices on TomTom GPS (Scratch Card) Best Quality

I saw this in Amazon so I figured why not? It was only $11. I'm glad I did.

The only problem I have is that you can't tell the effective date of the prices. However, it's a good gauge of prices relative to other stations in the area. I found that while the actual price may be a few cents off, it was a few cents off for ALL the stations in the area. Usually the lowest price station really was the lowest price in that area. For $11, it was a definite buy for me.Get more detail about TomTom Subscription for Realtime Fuel Prices on TomTom GPS (Scratch Card).

TomTom GO 510 4-Inch Portable GPS Navigator Buy Now

Initially a great deal as a refurbished. But... upload the latest updates and "poof" your voice function disappears. This is well documented on the internet groups. Try reloading the original install disc and you get your voice features back, but... utilize Bluetooth or iPod connector and you're back to no voice guidance.

On top of that, the iPod is finicky at best. Most likely why they don't offer it anymore in their current 2009 lineup. Always tells you to connect the player each time you turn off the unit. This requires you to turn the unit off again, unplug the iPod, turn the unit back on, then plug the iPod in AFTER you turn the 510 back on once more. Crazy.

My experience is seriously an issue when considering buying a TomTom again three years later. Were it not for my the built-in MyGig system on my new vehicle, I don't know if I'd buy another one. As is, I'm relegating this 510 to the carry-on bag for business trips.Get more detail about TomTom GO 510 4-Inch Portable GPS Navigator.

Tom Tom Navigator 6 Software with Maps of the US and Canada (Mini SD Card) This instant

I used Navigator 5 for a couple of years and now have used Navigator 6 since it first came out. Navigation and routing are very good. It runs well on an iPAQ 2215 even though TomTom doesn't list it as supported. I use it with a GlobalSat BT-338 BlueTooth GPS receiver. My only complaints are that the POI database lists only the name of the POI making it difficult to determine which Holiday Inn, for example I am looking at. Also, linking it to the BT-338 was a bit tricky since it needs to be configured not as a BlueTooth GPS receiver, but as a wired GPS receiver connected to COM8 (a BlueTooth serial port). I highly recommend it as a PDA navigation solution.Get more detail about Tom Tom Navigator 6 Software with Maps of the US and Canada (Mini SD Card).

TomTom A/C Power Charger for GO and Rider Navigators (9D00.006) Immediately

Ordered this as a replacement charger (my aunt lost the home charger to her Tom Tom). I think it's a little silly that the unit cannot charge through USB, but perhaps it is too much to ask. Anyways, the product works perfectly with my current Tom Tom and although I don't have the other non-American standard plugs to test, I'm sure the adapters work perfectly as well.Get more detail about TomTom A/C Power Charger for GO and Rider Navigators (9D00.006).

TomTom GO 32MB GPS Navigator Top Quality

I purchased a TomTom navigator system based on good experiences with renting cars with Magellan's Neverlost. The Magellan unit was expensive and I found the TomTom had a superior user interface, was portable and less costly. So I purchased the TomTom Go Plus.

I can't give enough praise to the user interface. It is very intuitive. The graphics are large and easily read from a distance. Its speaker delivers loud and clear speech. Being able to put the TomTom in my pocket and have it guide me in a city while I'm walking is a plus. The battery lasts 4-5 hours.

All of these advantages though, are overshawdowed by an error-ridden map and POI database that is incomplete and old. Some examples from my trips:
- It seems 50% of the POIs in the database no longer or never existed. Conversely, TomTom misses 50% of the existing POIs.
- On every trip, TomTom will not recognize a stretch of highway. TomTom thinks I'm driving through a meadow or woods and constantly tells me I need to get back on the highway. Fortunately, TomTom's volume will mute.
- TomTom thinks some interstate entrance ramps are clover-leaf instead of stoplight, guiding me to turn in a wrong direction.
- Monticello may be Thomas Jefferson's famous home near Charlottesville VA, and featured on US currency, but TomTom cannot find it.
- In southern MD, TomTom guided us to a farmer's house instead of the desired restaurant three miles away.
- In Alexandria VA, we needed to find a hospital. TomTom guided us instead to a restaurant, four miles from the nearest hospital!
- Heading to a friend's wedding near Hilton Head SC, TomTom guided us to a continuous loop through a remote neighborhood 15 miles from the destination. We had to stop at a gas station and ask directions. This was the final incident that lost my confidence in TomTom.

Now I'm back to using paper maps and written directions. I use TomTom as a secondary device mostly for tracking and measuring distance. If I could do it over, I would purchase a Magellan. Get more detail about TomTom GO 32MB GPS Navigator.
