Shop For Garmin External Speaker with 12-Volt Adapter for StreetPilot ( 010-10477-01)

The original cord on my Street Pilot 2640 began to give me problems after about 2 yrs. When I would go over a bump the Street Pilot would reset due to a break where the cord attached to the connector at the back of the GPS receiver. The new cord may develop the same problem (it appears to be identical to the original except that it is a couple of feet longer) but it solves the problem for now.Get more detail about Garmin External Speaker with 12-Volt Adapter for StreetPilot ( 010-10477-01).

This shade was a disappointment as it is too flimpsy and does not secure very well with the GPS system. Slips down over the screen during driving. Overpriced!!! It does, however, shade the screen from sun glare.

Pay attention to the previous reviews.Get more detail about Sun Shade Anti Glare Shield Visor for Garmin Nuvi 200W 205W 250W 255W 260W 265WT 285W 680 670 660 610 600 785T 780 775T 770 765T 760 755T 750 880 860 850 GPS.

TomTom GO 930 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator Review

This is my thrird TomTom GO, and my last one.

Cons:
- Maximum display brightness is much darker than on my GO 920
- Bluetooth remote takes 10 sec to connect
- Bluetooth remote works for the first three times after turning the device on, then no longer. You have to reset the unit (!) for it to work again, very annoying!
- One button on the Bluetooth remote requires you to push it hard in order for it to detect you pressed the button.
- Accuracy of house numbers is not perfect - sometimes 0.2 miles away.
- TomTom seems to be reluctant to fix such issues and instead rests assured that nobody will return the product for 2 weeks repair since they may not be able to live without it for so long.Get more detail about TomTom GO 930 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator.

TomTom ONE 125 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator Immediately

If you want a simple to use, simple to set up, and simple to understand navigation system that will get you from point A to point B, then this is the unit for you. Both my wife and I have had one of these for three years and have had only two or three times that it did not take us to the right place.

My job moves me around a lot, so we live in a different city or town every two or three years. Not only is this thing invaluable in new places where we don't know the area, but also helps us when we visit family in other states.

Maybe I haven't gotten on the TomTom website enough lately, but having a free map update would be helpful. The "points of interest" are hit and miss. We just usually look up an address on my iPhone or the local phone book and punch that into the TomTom and it takes us there. Addresses usually stay the same, but the name of businesses at that address change.

New home construction is where we have the biggest issue. Out house we live in right now is in such a new development, that it is not on the TomTom's database. But, we just set "home" as a cross street about a mile away.

Again, if you want something simple, with no bells and whistles, for pretty cheap, get this unit.

We love it and will probably keep them until they die. Get more detail about TomTom ONE 125 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator.

Garmin Approach G5 GPS-Enabled Golf Handheld (Factory Refurbished) Get it now!

I purchased a factory remanufactured Garmin Approach G5 GPS after using a friends on the course. It has all the features needed to make your golf game better. It identifies yardage to the green, yardage to hazards and bunkers, and it also allows you to compute yardage from your ball to anywhere on the fairway or green. I like the ability to move the flag stick to the correct location where it is on the green, and the Garmin then recomputes the new yardage to the stick. I have found that I get two rounds of golf completed before I get a low battery message on my screen. I carry extra batteries in case they are needed during play. This GPS requires NO subscriber fees, download fees for additional courses, and so far, I have not found a course I play to not be included in the courses that come loaded on the GPS when it is purchased. The screen is large enough to not be crowded with data. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others.Get more detail about Garmin Approach G5 GPS-Enabled Golf Handheld (Factory Refurbished).

GARMIN 010-10815-00 Suction Cup Mount For Nuvi Travel Assistant Buy Now

Overall I'm happy with the mount, this was a replacement for the original that came with my Garmin after the pin kept falling out. This one seems to be much better built. I travel a lot and wouldn't be caught dead without my GPS and this mount.Get more detail about GARMIN 010-10815-00 Suction Cup Mount For Nuvi Travel Assistant.

Garmin MapSource City Navigator, North America DVD-ROM for Garmin StreetPilot GPS Units Order Now

Garmin has established an Unlock procedure that is so byzantine that I frequently am denied use of my rightfully owned software. Whether the error is missing unlock code, no customer code found, unable to recognize device, or customer support is currently closed, I find it virtually impossible to install the maps on my device. I understand that Garmin wants to prevent piracy, but they really need to beta test their anti-piracy protocols before dumping their wares on the public. If Garmin doesn't respect the hours upon hours of my time that I spend trying to unlock their software, they do not deserve repeat business.Get more detail about Garmin MapSource City Navigator, North America DVD-ROM for Garmin StreetPilot GPS Units.

2090S Portable GPS Decide Now

I believe the company no longer makes GPS's. So, I don't believe you can update maps at their website. The GPS has all I would need. I only need it so I don't get lost. I've tried it on ways I know the best way to go, and it sometimes shows a weird way, but you wouldn't get lost. So far, it has been fast to pick up a signal, and has a signal in areas my 2006 Magellan didn't. You do have to be careful not to put it into "standby" mode when you want to turn it off, standby will drain the battery. You have to hold the button down until it turns off to actually turn it off. Overall, I'd recommend it to other people, but let them know the compnay no longer makes GPS's.Get more detail about 2090S Portable GPS.
