The map detail was good with this; however, the card can only be used in your device. Although I looked over the product description carefully, I did not note any statement that maps would not be viewable on my computer.

Ended up returning it and getting Garmin Mapsource Topo! U.S. 2008 DVD. The scale is not as fine on the elevation lines, but much, much more of the U.S. is covered AND it came with software that allows the maps to be viewed on my P.C.

Works as advertised. I purchased this item for my Garmin Zumo 660 for use on my motorcycle, but I even use it the car. Took it a road trip, everyone thought that the GlareStomper was the greatest add-on for a GPS they have ever seen.

I can keep the GlareStomper 320 attached to my Garmin Zumo 660, and still put the unit inside the Garmin provided carrying case. I didn't need to remove any Velcro material to access the on-off button. It kinda interferes with the audio out and external antenna connector ports under the weather cap, but a little trimming would easily fix this.

I'm in my mid 50s and really got into walking and then running at the beginning of this year. I bought the Forerunner so I could upload my workouts and use it for training, then download the workout information, including that from the heart monitor, to record my progress. I'll admit I'm somewhat of a gadget freak but not overly computer savvy. The Forerunner has worked just like I wanted it to with no problems. There may be a little learning curve, as there is with most instruments, but it is easily acccomplshed. I am very pleased that it makes my workouts easier by alerting me to changing intervals instead of me having to monitor my stopwatch. The information I download contains exactly the data I am looking for. You have to use the Forerunner to see where your paces fall in regard to the categories they have assigned but modifications to your workouts are pretty easy. I considered the Forerunner 205 but purchased the 305 model specifically because I wanted the heart monitor. To help train and keep track of distance, time, speed, heart rate, calories, and other data, I personally have no qualms recommending the Forerunner 305.

After using the Forerunner 305 for about three months I am still very impressed. I can't really add anything to what I said before. The instrument continues to perform as desired and expected, makes adjusting workouts for training easy as performance improves (slowly but surely). Finally, I would encourage new or less experienced runners not to be intimidated by the thought that the Forerunner 305 is too advanced for them, or is for experienced distance runners only. I never really thought I needed a GPS, especially when I needed to justify spending money for such a device. After getting this GPS, I'm sold. I haven't had much experience with other GPS devices but this one seems to be top of the line. Its easy to use for a beginner. My girlfriend has one from another brand that I have used and it isn't nearly as good as this one.

This thing is so helpful. I love how accurate the maps are and how accurate each turn is. It always knows exactly where I need to turn and tells me so that there's no confusion. A lot of times there are 2 roads close together and I may be unsure which one to take, especially if I used my girlfriend's GPS. This Navigon always makes it clear which one I need to take. The same goes for on the highway and which exit and even which lane to be in as you pass merging highways! I was on a recently renamed highway and even though the highway name was incorrect, every turn and lane change was still exact and got me to my destination with ease. It also helped me change lanes to switch between highways over a congested bridge just by listening to it. There was way too much to watch for so I couldn't look at the GPS. So it was very helpful that the GPS and voice were so accurate.
